Service Focus:
As someone rises at work, benefits follow—salary, authority, perks. Yet responsibility also grows: longer hours, more meetings, higher expectations. So, with a promotion comes the question, “Is it worth it?” The same applies in God’s kingdom. Faith brings blessings: the comfort of being God’s redeemed child, the peace of secure eternity. But greater faith means greater duty—more opportunities to serve. Jesus warns against seeking Christian benefits while dodging responsibility. Yet he doesn’t threaten. He shows that increased faith brings duty, and duty brings delight. The believer serves the One who first served us, finding joy in serving others as Christ found joy in serving us.
Today’s worship service was held outside, under the oak and avocado trees on the church property. No video streaming is available.
