Easter Sunday Worship Service & Brunch

Series Focus – “What Difference Does It Make?”
Life is full of either/or moments. Some carry little consequence — chicken or fish. Others matter more — take the job or keep it. But one either/or is life-changing for every human being: either Jesus is still dead, or he rose. He claimed he would: “The Son of Man must suffer many things . . . be killed and after three days rise again” (Mark 8:31). If he remains dead, he is a failure and a fraud, and we are still in our sin. But Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! The 50-day season of Easter celebrates that world-changing fact.

Service Focus:
Without the resurrection, death would appear permanent. No one comes back from the dead to explain what lies beyond it. Jesus told his disciples what would happen—but they were slow to believe. So God provided witnesses to assure his people that Jesus did not remain dead.
He lives, and it makes all the difference. I, too, shall live. Death has become a pathway into paradise. Jesus has made me spiritually alive through faith in his resurrection. In every way, he takes me from death to life.
Following the service, a potluck brunch will be held. A sign-up sheet is available to indicate what you will bring and whether you can assist with set-up or cleanup.
