Service Focus:
Centuries before Holy Week, the prophet Zechariah foretold a remarkable figure—the Branch—who would serve as both King and Priest. In a symbolic coronation, the high priest Joshua receives a crown pointing ahead to Jesus Christ. In our Passion History, we see that King standing before Pilate, rejected and condemned. Yet through that suffering, our Priest-King accomplishes his saving work and begins building his true temple: a people redeemed to live with him forever.
