Where do we turn when everything seems hopeless? Upon whom can we rely when everything seems to be out of control? Is there such a thing as an unshakable hope? The answer to all of these questions is the same. We can always rely on the Lord for the promise he provides, as well as the confidence he gives. We see this especially in his solemn word to lead us out of this vale of tears to himself in heaven. If that were not enough to lift our spirits, he also promises to reunite us with all those who have preceded us in death. What a time this will be! We will be always with the Lord, and never again separated from the ones we loved in Christ.
