Easter Series Focus – “What Difference Does It Make?”
Life is full of either/or moments. Some carry little consequence — chicken or fish. Others matter more — take the job or keep it. But one either/or is life-changing for every human being: either Jesus is still dead, or he rose. He claimed he would: “The Son of Man must suffer many things . . . be killed and after three days rise again” (Mark 8:31). If he remains dead, he is a failure and a fraud, and we are still in our sin. But Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! The 50-day season of Easter celebrates that world-changing fact.
Service Focus: He Lives to be the Only Way to Heaven
Without the resurrection, Jesus would be just another failed messiah — a criminal executed on a cross, powerless to help even himself, let alone anyone else. But he is risen. And that changes everything. He is the only way to heaven — and that makes the gospel the most radically inclusive message the world has ever heard. The life he won on Easter morning is meant for every man, woman, and child who has ever drawn breath.
